The Chicken Cadillac

These are some seriously happy chickens. They've been living in their tractor full time for the last 2 days. I think J should build these things for a living, because this is one seriously cool chicken tractor. Check out the wheels harvested from a nasty old baby stroller.
This is the side view. What you can't see is the nesting boxes that hang off the back of it with a little flip up lid to gather eggs. They've even figured out that they need to go up the little walkway at night. Mary, the little failure to thrive chick can't get up there yet, but the rest happily go up at night.
Inside they have some food and water. There are perches to sit on and the aforementioned nesting boxes.
Another view.
Hello! Isn't this the coolest house you've ever seen!

Did you guys build that? I'm so envious! I love the idea of having one on wheels to move around to fresh grass---is that the idea?

Great chicken tractor! I think it's one of the nicest ones I have seen.

Thanks everyone. Yes, we built it. My neighbor built it for us. We're sharing the chickens. They are able to move anywhere we want to put them. That way they always have a fresh area to do their thing. It also helps the lawn!
