Autumn Fire

Each season brings its own personality.  Its as if they are trying to outdo each other.  The red of autumn is no exception.

Japanese Maple

Dogwood

Burning Bushes lit ablaze.

See who else is strolling over at the Quiet Country House.

Gorgeous! Wow, look at all that red. We do not have a lot of red in our autumn palette this year. My daughter commented on that to me yesterday. How nice of you to share yours! :)

I love the reds of fall. Even better when they are next to and contrasted by some brilliant yellows and oranges. Our Japanese maples have our deep dark forest as a back drop and the red just glows in comparison to the darkness behind it.

Aisling, we don't have too many reds in the trees, but my yard seems to be full of red.

kitsap, I agree, its wonderful to have the contrast.
