Pumpkins starting to take shape. Tomatoes soaking in the sun. Tomatillos ready for the party. Cabbage cool and crisp. Cucumbers hanging out. Onions ready for dinner.

Good eats in the works! I love to watch pumpkins grow. They start out as little ping pong ball sized things and balloon up to quite big very very fast if they are properly pollinated. I swear you can watch them grow before your very eyes if you are patient enough to sit still for a half hour or so!
Those really are delicious shades of green. They all look wonderful, but I think the "baby" pumpkin is particularly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh wow!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

ReplyDeleteThe pumpkins are pretty. They are currently taking over my yard. By September, you won't be able to see anything in the front yard but pumpkin vines.
ReplyDeleteLOVELY shades of green, which won't stay that color for long!!!
