It's been a bad year for the heat lovers in our area and I know I usually do better than that - so I will plant corn again next year. Different spot though and I need to side dress fertilizer a little sooner next year.kitsapFGhttp://www.modernvictorygarden.com/apps/blog/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4987757052468794779.post-66177239742470265852010-08-27T07:38:52.296-04:002010-08-27T07:38:52.296-04:00Marie, too much water will split them every time.

I'm sure some of them have cracked, but probably not that many except the cherries because I don't think we got quite as much rain as most people did in the area.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4987757052468794779.post-70809509006116805702010-08-26T10:40:46.838-04:002010-08-26T10:40:46.838-04:00Just spent the last 45min peeling tomatoes :( They...Just spent the last 45min peeling tomatoes :( They're on the stove and in half and hour they'll be ready to hot pack.
